This journey was beyond anything I
had ever imagined. Simply reading about
Shri Ram doesn’t do justice to his essence;
this became painfully clear only when I
tried to walk in his footsteps.
Maintaining calm and composure in every

I’ve always been curious—why did everyone hold such deep reverence for Shri Ram? After all, he was a human incarnation of Narayan. Even the mighty Hanuman was willing to sacrifice everything for him!
While studying Valmiki’s Ramayana, I was struck by a profound realization. It was his nature—his humility towards everyone, his unwavering commitment to DHARMA.Despite being a king, Shri Ram faced relentless struggles and never knew true comfort. At sixteen, he ventured into the forest with Sage Vishwamitra to vanquish fierce demons. On the eve of his coronation, he was sent into exile by Queen Kaikeyi. In Panchavati, Sita was abducted by Ravana. Even after their return from exile, Sita was sent away again, and he couldn’t even meet his own child. It was his sacrifice for DHARMA that transformed him from a man into a deity.During my journey, there were almost three months when I didn’t eat properly. Sometimes, my exhaustion was so overwhelming, I felt like a river losing itself in the vast ocean. But the image of Shri Ram, enduring his struggles, always inspired
me to keep moving forward.In my view, everyone should undertake
such a journey in their life. Not necessarily for DHARMA, but to truly understand the heart and soul of Bharat. There are forces within India that seek to tarnish its culture and essence, as described in this sacred text. Through this journey, I sought to see and understand Bharat from within, and perhaps,in some small way, to heal the wounds that threaten our
beloved nation.
